In Litigation at GSU, you will receive one case file which the class takes the first half of the semester practicing its pleading practices. When I took Litigation in Spring 2004 from Professor Kadish, we did the Otway personal injury case. In some of the documents I am representing the Plaintiff and in others the Defendant - please read the file carefully - you should only be using these as templates for your own writing, the content and context of this case will differ with each section and professor.
Here are the documents I turned in for that class. You may use them as a template, but the specific pleadings you will write depend entirely on the facts of your case, the elements of the claims or defenses therein, and your particular style of pleading. Please discuss with your individual professor his or her requirements for each assignment.
